I am a 70 yr. old female with hypertension. I have had a couple of episodes of a drop in my blood pressure and then passing out. I take Clonidine, Lopressor, and Zestril for BP. The doc is hearing noise from my carotid. They are scheduling tests for this. What can you tell me? What can my daughter do to help me, when we're at the house, and one of these episodes happen? It's very scary. My bp dropped to 40/15. Then I got realy cold and my bp fluctuated. When I left the emergency room, my bp was 140/40. The doc said when there's that kind of difference, in the readings, there is something going on. Any words of advice. I await your answer
Thanks,
Carolyn G.
