pulse rate

i'm 20 years old i was diagnosed with high blood pressure when i was 10 but didn't really seek help about it till i was 18, then they put me on meds for it..but still they have no idea why i have this and what it could be related to ....about 6 months ago i stopped taking my medicine atacand , i've been checking my blood pressure everyday and it seems to be prefectly fine but now i'm worried about my pulse rate it's always in the 90'S or higher even at times ...what can i do about this? and what could be the cause?
