I have had white coat syndrome for many years that has especially created a rise in systolic bp. Lately despite taking cardizam, loosing 15 lb to a normal wt. , running 3 times a week and weight training about 3 times a week, my systolic may still be mildly elevated (140-150mm Hg) even when taken at home. A stress EKG and a nuclear stress test were normal when taken recently. Any ideas?
