When I have a doctors appointment, I get very anxious, and worked up even the night before. They take it and my pulse will go up way beyond the normal range. I bought my own monitor for at home, and it is always usually very normal, unless I am very nervous about my appointment.I used to donate blood, but they would always take my bp prior. It would be too high, so they would leave me for 5 minutes. As soon as they would try again,Iwould feel that cuff tighten up when the machine would start,I would panic, and the same thing would happen.I just don't go go anymore, because I would get so panicky that I would make myself ill.
