Yes, I agree except I am not sure about the sodium bit. While it seems to be a
common prerequisite for lowering blood pressure I have heard different
opinions. I am not sure what to believe. Some say too much sodium intake can
lead to an increase in blood pressure, but cutting out the sodium won't help in
bringing it down. Some say it has nothing to do with it, and cutting it out can
do more harm than good.
I have a personal interest on this one because I use a lot of salt with my
food. As do the chinese and other nations producing tasty food.
I would appreciate any comments regarding sodium intake and it's effect on
health and or blood pressure. I obviously know that salt is a necessary part of
fluid balance.
