Bread* consumption is the primary cause of hypertension in the US.

The latest research indicates something quite stunning:

* *Bread* consumption is the primary cause of hypertension in the US. * ************************************************************************

(Give us each day, our daily HYPERTENSION...)

The primary cause of hypertension in all cases is constricted arteries.
With smaller pathways to move through, the heart has to pump MUCH harder.
Thus, higher blood pressure.

What causes arteries to constrict? Insulin. What causes arteries
to dialate and lower blood pressure? Glucogon, in the absence of insulin.
Aside from a few man made prescription drugs, there really isn't much else
that has effects on artery constriction.

Insulin is the bodies master hormone that controls nutrient absorbtion
in cells. When levels of insulin are high, your body cells are in
an emergency state, absorbing sugars and amino acids from the blood.
Your arteries constrict as part of this "red alert" -- no one really
knows why this happens. It is probably in part due to the arteries
themselves taking part in the red alert, and the cells swelling up
with excess nutrients. In response to glucogon, your fat cells
dump fat into your blood stream for use as a fuel by your muscles and
organs.

What causes hyper insulin to produce hyper-tension? Too much fast acting
glucose in the diet. Where does that glucose come from? STARCH.
Where is starch found in the diet? BREADS, pastas, POTATOES, BANANAS,
carrots, beets. Where does glucagon come from? It is excreted by
the pancreas in response to the presence of amino acids in the blood,
the breakdown products of dietary protien.

How do you CURE HYPERTENSION then? Replace starch in the diet. To
stimulate lean muscle tissue growth, eat proteins from tofu and lean
meats. To provide extra calories, consume fats and oils from nuts
and other monounsaturated sources to regain potential lost calories.

What does this provide? Lowered starch lowers insulin levels, which
relaxes the strain on the arteries. Increased protien increases
glucagon levels, which in the absence of overwhelming quantities of
insulin (which overrides glucagon) relaxes and dialates the arteries.

Added benefit: dramatic weight loss from glucagon releasing fat stored
in the fat cells, radical increases in stamina and endurance and mental
concentration. Your muscle cells will burn fats, which they were designed
to use as a primary fuel. With proper fuels from fats, and protiens from
dietary sources, and lowered insulin levels, and a very modest amount
of excercise, you will start gaining lean body mass as your muscles
finally have the basic tools that nature intended for them to have.

Quite simply, if you eat like Tarzan, you will look like Tarzan.
Even if you are 85 years old and weigh 300 pounds, with blood pressure
of 170/120, it WILL work for you.

The human body has built in regulators for fat consumption. It is impossible
to eat too much fat without feeling the overwhemling urge to stop. On
the other hand, primates never evolved to eat starchy diets. There is
NO REGULATOR for starch -- in fact we have just the opposite. If we
eat starch, our insulin levels skyrockets, drains the glucose from the
blood and we feel an overwhelming urge to EAT MORE STARCH. It is a
never ending spiral that is ultimately potentially fatal. *Bread* is
an addictive, fatal drug.

And yes, RICE TOO. In fact, most forms of rice are worse than bread.
The more you process a starch, the faster it breaks down and more
dramatic your insulin response is. Breakast cereals, popcorn, puffed
rice, french bread, millet, MICROWAVED POTATOES... these are all
absolutely brutal on your insulin metabolism.
