Maybe our area is a little archaic, but the only thing we carry
that _might_ work for hypertension is nitroglycerin.
As a rule, the patient with non-sypmptomatic hypertension will not
be treated in the field.
The symptomatic patient, it depends. On what? How far away is the
hospital? What symptoms? How aggressive is the medic? We don't have
a specific protocol for hypertensive patients (as a chief
complaint), so it becomes a very subjective item.
