Perhaps the medics among us can shed some light on this:
Despite the havoc of hypertension (and subsequently, stroke) in the last 10-20 years in Nigeria, the Columbia Encyclopedia still says that AFRICAN AMERICANS are most succeptible to the illness.
Is this lack of data from Nigeria and African mainland, or mere eurocentric arrogance on the part of the encyclopedia?
