Have you tried herbal remdies?

Have you tried herbal remdies? I am *not* suggesting you try those instead of
drugs. I'm just thinking you could give them a try while you look for other
solutions, and see if they help at all.
The ones for high bp I am most familiar with are compatible with bfing. You
just eats lots of cucumbers and garlic, raw garlic if you can stand it. BAbies
supposedly love the breastmilk of a mommy who eats garlic, too.
I would suggest that you try and get Hale's Medications in Mother's Milk into
your Dr.'s hands, too, so that he can feel comfortable with what he prescribes
and know more about it.
I don't have the ordering info handy, but I'm sure somebody else does.
I must say, that *if* it's true that no medication for bp is compatible with
bfing, I would give up the nursing without a second glance. Breastmilk is
truly important, but she won't be getting any breastmilk if you have a stroke
while she's a baby, and of course, she'll be much better off having a live
Mama.
On second reading, I hope that doesn't sound like I think you couldn't figure
that out. I do. I just hope you don't feel guilty *if* you do have to wean.
Blessings,

Kanga
