Thanks for the great explanation.
If a drug that dilates the pulmonary arteries could be used, would that
reduce the secondary pulmonary hypertension? If it did, would this
resolve the problem of increased Right Ventricle work? If so, that
still doesn't fix the Left Ventricle Cardiomyopathy, does it? Is a
heart transplant the solution to these problems?
What are the negative effects of cardiomyopathy besides pulmonary
hypertension and blood backing up into the veins of the body?
Are primary and secondary pulmonary hypertension treated the same way?
Or is secondary treated with a heart transplant and primary treated with
a lung transplant?
And finally, since you mentioned it, what is the difference between
hypertension and pulmonary hypertension?
